Canada Soccer will continue to closely monitor all COVID-19 developments in consultation with the Public Health Agency of Canada and relevant governing bodies through the Canada Soccer Sport Medicine Committee.
This will be the 14th international meeting between the two sides since they first met on 6 June 1995 in Helsingborg, Sweden when both nations took part in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time. In the most recent meeting between the two nations on 5 April 2019 in Manchester, England, Canada won 1:0 after captain Christine Sinclair scored the winning goal in the 80th minute.
Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team will return to the pitch this month when they take part in the sixth edition of the SheBelieves Cup which will take place 18-24 February at Exploria Stadium in Orlando during the upcoming February FIFA international window. Canada faces USA on 18 February, Argentina on 21 February and Brazil on 24 February.

Canada are two-time Olympic bronze medal winners (2012 and 2016) and two-time Concacaf champions (1998 and 2010). In all, Canada have participated in seven consecutive editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ (1995 to 2019) and three consecutive editions of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament (2008 to 2016).
