Ottawa, Ontario The Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) today regretfully announced the cancellation of the Women’s international friendly against France on Thursday, April 28th, 2005 in Laval, Quebec.
Due to the cancellation of another match within the CONCACAF region on April 24, 2005, the French Football Federation (FFF) has been forced to cancel their trip to North America.
The Canadian Women’s National team will be playing three international friendlies in Europe; one against Holland on April 19th and two against Women’s World Champions, Germany on April 21st and 24th. The CSA is in discussions to add a fourth game to this tour on April 27th, 2005.

In the meantime the FFF has agreed to play two friendlies in Quebec against the Canadian Women’s National team in 2006, at a mutually agreeable time.
