Tom Pollock honoured on Moncton Wall of Fame

New Brunswick’s Thomas Pollock has been honoured as a Builder on the Moncton Wall of Fame. Involved in youth soccer for more than 30 years, Pollock becomes the first soccer person to be honoured by the city.

New Brunswick’s Thomas Pollock has been honoured as a Builder on the Moncton Wall of Fame. Involved in youth soccer for more than 30 years, Pollock becomes the first soccer person to be honoured by the city.



Mr. Pollock got involved in the Greater Moncton area in the 1970s. In 1982, he co-founded Codias Soccer; in 1990, he won Soccer New Brunswick’s Referee of the Year award.



Mr. Pollock went on to serve as president of Soccer New Brunswick and served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Soccer Association. He also served on the Canadian Soccer Association’s Referees Committee. He remains active in soccer and most recently served on the local organizing committee for the 2010 National Championships U-14 Cup in Moncton.



The Moncton Wall of Fame is located at the main entrance to the Tim Horton’s 4-Plex. The Wall was officially dedicated on 10 September 2005. The Moncton Wall of Fame has recognized athletic stars, coaches, officials, builders and teams since 1986.
